The History of Tiffany Billiards & Sportsbar
Tiffany's is now is over 22,000 sq ft and boasts:
The main room has over 500 chairs, more than 120 tables and 2 multiple station bars. Tiffany’s also has a VIP room for bands and VIPs to relax in. The room has its own surround sound system, plasma flat screen with a DVD player and cooking facilities. We pride ourselves on presenting the best of all sporting events, great music, and as always billiards and games. In 2005 Tiffany Billiards & Sportsbar and Sports Bar will be changing its name to Tiffany's Live Music and Sports in order to put more emphasis on national bands and a larger variety of music genres while still catering to sports enthusiasts. More music, more sporting events, more wireless Internet, more everything… and all of this under one roof creating an atmosphere for everyone. |
The Tiffany Billiards & Sportsbar location was originally the Northview Country Club back in 1946 with a nine hole golf course, Olympic size pool and bath house, a wading pool, tennis courts, and dinner club. The original building size was only 6000 sq ft. The original floor still remains in front of the main bar. Tiffany Billiards & Sportsbar moved to the hill in July 1977 and that is when the first renovation took place. The property was purchased in 1979 and has remained under one owner since. This site has been home to many prosperous clubs: Tramp's Live Music, Yo-Yo's and the famous tejano club, T-Town, just to name a few. It has also been leased to many other club entrepreneurs before Tiffany Billiards & Sportsbar moved back to stay.
